I want to get Pint of Science to every city in the world and communicate science as it is- fun, fascinating and inspiring.
Director & Founder
I am trained as a neuroscientist and used to research the brain. A whole variety of scientific research is happening across the world and I'm excited to be part of bringing it all together and showcasing it to people.

Neuroscientist, photographer, hiker and slightly hyperactive! I currently work on a gene therapy project at UCL in London, and on the side I’m trying to make science fun for everyone and break the clichés of the boring scientists… and then I go to the pub.
I decided I was going to be a biologist in the moment I was told about Gregor Mendel and his experiments. I am an electrophysiologist at the Biophysic Institute of CNR in Genova. I strenuously believe in evolution and in the relaxing power of a beer after a hard-work day.
Trained as mathematician, I've worked as data analyst in various fields. I love going cycling and fresh air. Very proud to be in charge of the Spanish section of this amazing festival.
I studied Physics and specialised in Astrophysics. Now, I work in research programmes in the field of Unmanned Aircraft Systems. I love science outreach and make the people love science as I do. I’m happy to bring Pint of Science to Spain.
I studied Physics at the University of Granada and currently work at the Araba University Hospital. I'm engaged with bringing science to the public, I'm co-editor, and founding member of the blog desayunoconfotones.org (“Breakfast with photons”), and very proud to be part of Pint of Science.
I’m currently a science writer, science-party-thrower and recovering PhD student (Medical Genetics). I love engaging with the public and chatting about the latest medical research– everyone is just so excited to learn! And I’m very excited to be here.
I'm working my way to a PhD in Neuroscience. When I'm not in the lab or organising events like Pint of Science or parties, you can find me in a shooting range or in the kitchen.
PhD in molecular microbiology I’m passionate about science communication. After post-docs at University of São Paulo I run Coffee at the Lab Bench & provide science workshops for schools. I’ll take coffee by the pint anytime. Proud to be on board.
Post-doc in Chemistry at University of Montreal, I came to Quebec to leave the French wine and enjoy Canada’s microbreweries. Pint of Science is as I enjoy life: behind surrounded by friends, talking about science… with a beer in my hands
I am a computational chemist at the Institute of Cancer Research in London. Besides science, I enjoy a good book, playing the saxophone, and extensive hiking trips.
Born and trained in the middle of the Alps, I am now developing a new gene therapy approach for the treatment of epilepsy at the UCL in London. I am a passionate scientist and a big fan of outdoor activities.
